Life of Fire

Life of Fire follows legendary pitmaster Pat Martin, a western Tennessee native, as he travels the country to meet the grillmasters and pitmasters who have mastered the uniquely American tradition of barbecue. Each episode features a unique style of barbecue and Pat will embed himself with the pitmasters as they share their local cooking traditions with him and speak to the importance of keeping those traditions alive. We'll feature barbecue from the Carolina lowcountry, Appalachia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas and more. Pat speaks the language of barbecue and is at home in the culture of the backwoods smokers and larger than life characters.
